The Norton Agency is a real estate and insurance firm based out of Gainesville, Georgia, United States. Present in 24 North Georgia counties with 17 offices, the company employs over 250 employees and insures over 200,000 individuals, families and businesses. Founded by W.L. Norton, the agency is now run by his two of his grandsons, Frank Norton, Jr. and Bob Norton.

History
W.L. Norton, who served as a Georgia State Senator, builder and real estate and insurance executive, founded the Norton Agency in 1928 as an insurance firm. W.L. Norton is responsible for: developing the first planned neighborhood in Georgia, creating loan programs that allowed homes to be available to all customers, and for The Norton Agency today. W.L.'s youngest son, Frank Norton, Sr. joined in 1952 and together they expanded the company into real estate as well. Through this growth, The Norton Agency began to grow through North Georgia counties. Frank Norton Sr.'s wife soon joined the firm and together they expanded the real estate capabilities of the agency.
Joining the agency in the 1980s, today Frank and Bob Norton oversee daily operations. Bob Norton oversees the insurance division and Frank Norton, Jr. focuses on residential and commercial real estate.

For 24 years, the agency has presented an annual forecast, Native Intelligence, to the community. The forecast provides an economic overview of the region. The Norton Agency's clients include: The Atlanta Falcons, Hall County School Systems, Northeast Georgia Medical Center, The Longstreet Clinic and 24 regional and national banks. The Norton Agency was named family business of the year by Georgia Trend in 2000.
